Eric Eckhart to launch new EP in Dublin
May 10, 2006
Singer-songwriter Eric Eckhart will launch his debut EP, Lost and Found on Friday 19 May, 2006 at 8pm in Bewley's Cafe Theatre, Grafton Street, Dublin.
Lost and Found's seven songs are a soulful blend of smooth vocals, rich melodies and deft guitar playing. All songs were performed, recorded and mixed by Eric on his Mac Mini in his flat in Dublin.
Eric is originally from Huntington, West Virginia. The son of a socialist railroad worker, his music reflects his working-class roots. Though now living with his wife in Dublin, his music has a distinctive American feel. His songs speak of leaving home, of making a new life in a new country, of being lost and found.
Eric will be touring throughout 2006.
The EP will be on sale at a number of shops in Ireland as well as from www.ericeckhart.com, www.myspace.com/ericeckhartmusic and www.cdbaby.com.
