41 year-old self-confessed late-bloomer, Eric Eckhart, is getting another chance to go after his dream. Seven years ago, in a quarter-life crisis, the American moved to Europe and reconnected with his life-long passion for music.

Now in Berlin, Eric's music continues to branch out while also feeding off his roots in West Virginia.

His newest album, ‘This Is Where It Starts’, was recorded in what was former East Germany’s main radio station. In typical Berlin-style, the eleven songs mix the old with the new, blending rootsy-pop with indie rock and roll, all with classic song-writing sensibilities at its heart.

Realised with the help of friends in Berlin’s artistic community, and the support of family in America, ‘This Is Where It Starts’ is testament to the belief that it is never too late to begin again.
