Dublin-based solo artist Eric Eckhart made an immediate impact on the Irish music scene with the release of his critically acclaimed debut CD, 'Lost and Found' in May 2006 and by being selected as "Best singer-songwriter" at last year's Hard Working Class Heroes Festival by Hot Press magazine.
Originally from Huntington West Virginia, USA, Eric moved to Dublin five years ago seeking change and looking to refocus on his music. Eric's music is a soulful blend of rich melodies, deft guitar playing and poignant lyrics that reflect his American working class roots.
Since releasing his CD, a strong word-of-mouth buzz continues to grow with Eric performing on television and radio, playing numerous well received gigs and getting excellent media reviews.
Eric is currently finishing a new EP scheduled for release in October followed by a national tour.
